TeloPoint is pleased to announce our engagement with Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC), in which we will schedule and administer in-home blood draws as part of a national COVID-19 surveillance study. As we near the end of our first year with COVID-19, there are still many things we don’t know about the disease. TeloPoint is excited to see what discoveries CUIMC will make during this study, making our community safer against this and hopefully future pandemics.
TeloPoint's MobileCare platform makes it easy to manage, fulfill, and monitor in-home phlebotomy visits by automating the scheduling, route assignment, data entry, and chain of custody workflows necessary for a viable mobile phlebotomy program. Lab tests are the most cost-effective diagnostic tool for early detection and intervention of emerging health problems, but up to 40% of tests are abandoned. TeloPoint makes it easy for physicians, patients, case managers, and hospitals to maintain high completion rates of prescribed lab tests for clinical trials, population health management, and consumer health.
