NYSDOH partnership for state-mandated COVID testing in schools

TeloPoint has been designated New York State's partner vendor for state-mandated testing

As the number of confirmed COVID cases continues to swell across the country, New York’s Micro-Cluster Focus Zones action plan involving zoning by infection rates has gone into effect. TeloPoint has received Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certification and a Limited Service Laboratory Registration with the New York State Department of Health, paving the way for us to be New York’s official partner vendor for state-mandated COVID testing. 


TeloPoint is able to assist New York City in performing on-site testing for essential businesses and facilities, such as non-public schools, that are permitted to operate while in yellow zones provided that 20% of their students and faculty are tested on a weekly basis in the case of schools. Our on-site testing provides the schools, the students and their families, and the state a clearer picture of how the virus is affecting our communities while reducing strain on clinics and urgent care facilities with long lines of new patients. Reliable regular testing is key to allowing schools and other vital facilities to operate during this unprecedented public health crisis, and TeloPoint is ready to serve anyone in need of on-site state-mandated COVID testing.
